Peer Rope Lismore is an inclusive, safe space for all including LGBTQI+ and welcomes anyone interested in learning about the beautiful, sensual and multidimensional world of Japanese rope art; where

the rigger is the artist

the body is the canvas

the rope is the medium

A highly meditative practice, Shibari is a potent way to deeply connect with another.

Details:

- When:  Alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
- Where:  Private location in Lismore (address provided upon confirmation)
- Price:  $20 (payable at the door)
- Dress Code:  Comfortable, form-fitting attire (no jeans, no underwire bras – think yoga)

What to Bring:

-   If you have your own rope, feel free to bring it. Otherwise, dojo rope is provided for use during class, and also available to purchase: $30 per 8m hank of Japanese Ogawa jute rope (available in natural and red).
- Couples and singles are welcome. If you don’t have a partner, you can practice with an instructor, a fellow participant, or self-tie.

Class Levels:

- Beginner 1 – For those new to Shibari or Peer Rope classes.
- Beginner 2 + Intermediate – For those who have attended previous Peer Rope classes or workshops with Shane & Bonnie.

Instructors:

- Bonnie – As a Tantric Rope sWitch with experience in both sides of rope, Bonnie has a deep understanding of the emotional and spiritual dimensions of Shibari.
- Shane – A seasoned Rigger with over 30 years of experience in rope, including 7 years studying Shibari. Shane has expertise in both the Osada-Ryu and Kazami-Ryu schools of Shibari.
